Revenge?

Today i held a secret council with only women in it. I had to keep this meeting top secret even Ernest didn't know, mainly because lately i have wondered if hes hard material. He has been too soft lately and i just don't think he knows what it takes for a revolution to succeed. In other terms of business, the trial for Charles Darnay is still in place. Personally i don't care anything about  Dr. Manette, he can both live or die i don't care otherwise. Lucie and her child on the contrary shall be exterminated as soon as possible. I feel like my days until full revenge are a countdown, that's why i arranged the secret meeting. I made my faithful companions to swear secrecy and even forced the wood-sawyer to testify against Charles Darnay on his trial. He was happy to this of course because he is a true rebel. I'm pretty confident that Lucie is angry at the French Republic since her husband is about to be executed, i think its time for me to pay her a little visit. Revenge is very close i can smell Darnay's blood already. I will not take long handling Lucie and shall be back to see Darnay's execution, finally the Evremonds will all die.

The Bastille

My wine shop had been the center of all revolution activities and it finally paid off today. Today was the day history was made, because today we took over the Bastille. As the men or Jacques gathered for war, I rallied all the women and gave motivation speeches. Finally we joined the men and together we stormed the Bastille. Outside we had captured the governor who was defending the Bastille and as he passed through the revolutionary crowd he got beat and knifed. Without thinking and with impatience I stormed against him and cut his throat myself, then his head was the only thing I was left holding. I hope today serves as an example to the Marquis which will suffer the same fate in the future.

Met Barsad

This morning i finally met our new town member. I was knitting in my wine shop corner when then,Barsad walked in. I recognized him right away because of the good description my husband had given me and the way he looked around in the shop. I noticed i wasn't the only one that recognized him because the wine shop fell silent and people walked out the back door when they saw him. I made an attempt to start a conversation with him, but i saw he kept looking around my wine shop although i don't think he saw anything out of the ordinary. I wanted him to stay in the wine shop for a while though, maybe until i had finished knitting his entire name into my register. As my husband walked in, he attended Barsad and when Barsad called him Jacques, my husband told him that wasn't his name and he would've rather be called Ernest. I then approached him and with the help of my husband we tricked him. Eventually though he mentioned Dr. Manette and without time to think i blurted out that we had not seen him. That might not have been the smartest thing to do, but i think most of his suspicions are gone.

Add to List

Five years have passed, and finally i have received important and valuable news. Today my husband informed me that a spy has arrived in town. He claims that this spy is on the police force and that his name is Barsad. Ernest gave me a pretty good description of Barsad and for that i am proud of him. Maybe that's why i chose him for a husband and because i wanted secrecy on my future plans. Apparently the French police have set  up this spy to discover who are revolutionaries or as we called ourselves, Jacques. Without a doubt  we have to add this called Barsad to my knitting list because he might be dangerous to us, but mainly to my secret plan. He has to be eliminated immediately, but maybe, just maybe he might be of some other use to me. I have to keep everything to myself nowadays. This English spy Barsad has to be kept in silence at all costs.

A promise

My revenge is still in full pace. It feels just like yesterday when my sister and brother died because of the Evremonds, and my poor father also died of sadness. I promised myself that I will revenge their deaths and so far everything is going on track. Today was an important day, for today Mr. Lorry and Lucie Manette paid me a visit. My husband took them both upstairs where we have kept Dr.Manette in secret and they released him from his own prison cell. Of course i tried hard just to be ignored by both of them in case they find anything suspicious. I even helped Dr.Manette get his shoe-making tools from the upstairs room when he forgot them. Eventually i kept to knitting and wonder if I would ever need to knit their names into my list. I don't really care if I do because i will do anything that stands in the way of my revenge against the Evremonds. My plan is far from completed and it will take maybe even years but its all worth it i hope get to see every single Evremod die.
